If you’re a Chase bank customer who somehow finds it difficult to locate any of the bank’s roughly 2 gadjillion ATMs, your life is about to get a little easier. The nation’s largest bank announced last week that will install 800 new ATMs at gas stations across California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington state.
About three-quarters of the new machines will be in California, bringing the total number of Chase ATMs in California to 16 bajillion. (Or, actually, 4,000.)
“We are making banking even more convenient for millions of Chase customers, especially in California,” Jim Sutton, Chase’s chief of ATM expansion, said in a press release.
More places to get cash may also help the gas station chain sell more gasoline and snacks.
“We expect this to help generate additional fuel purchases and in-store sales, further strengthening the brand,” President Bill Fry said in a press release.
