Bargain seekers, listen up: If you love freebies, believe it or not, Tax Day is the moment you’ve been waiting for. Far and wide, retailers and restaurants will dole the deals to consumers. Come April 18, you can find them on everything from food to travel to consumer goods. Here, we’ve rounded up some deals that could make your tax day a bit more bearable this year.

Free Bites

Head over to a participating Hard Rock Cafe on Tax Day for a free Local Legendary Burger. Okay, so it’s not completely free — you’ll have to “Sing for your Supper” on a cafe stage. But at least you can keep your tax refund. (For ideas on how to spend yours, go here.)

After your Hard Rock burger, you can stop in your local Great American Cookies for free desert. On April 18 only, the cookie outlet will hand out free chocolate chip cookies.

Travel Deals

If you’re considering a trip to our nation’s capital, the Capital Hill Hotel is offering 20% off its best available rates between now and April 19 when you book Thursday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday night stays in April, May and June and any weekday in July and August. In addition to the discount, you also get to enjoy such perks as free Wi-Fi and breakfast.

And if you’re looking to get out of the country, Grand Lucayan Hotels in the Bahamas is offering a 50% price cut on stays of three nights or more when you book by April 30, in addition to a $100 resort credit. For the discount, nightly stays are restricted to between September 2 and November 15, 2016. A coupon code is available of the hotel’s website.

Other Freebies

For the entire week of Tax Day — that is, April 18 through 22 — HydroMassage will offer free massages. Remember to call ahead to schedule and print out the coupon for your appointment.

Perhaps not as entertaining as the other deals on this list is this one from Staples: Anytime on Tax Day, head into your local store to shred up to five pounds of documents, for free. Remember, shredding your docs is a smart way to protect yourself from identity theft.
