4 Small Business Rewards Credit Cards With No Annual Fees

In honor of National Small Business Week, I’ve selected four business credit cards that offer some really good rewards. And since these cards don’t have annual fees, you get to keep all the rewards you earn. Now, that’s a pretty sweet deal.

Just a quick reminder before we dive in: Business credit cards are not covered by the Credit CARD Act of 2009, which prevents sudden rate increases among other needed consumer protections. So just be careful. Try not to carry a balance and pay attention to any mail you receive from your issuer.

Okay, so here we go. Here are some business cards that help you save money on businesses expenses:

Ink Cash Business Card

Chase has several cards with the Ink brand. They’re all pretty good cards but I like the cash rewards and low APR associated with this one. After your first purchase, you get $100 cash back. Spend $5,000 within the first three months and you get an additional $150 cash back bonus. So you can earn up to a $250 cash back bonus. Not bad, huh?

The rewards program is generous, but it’s tiered. You get 5 percent cash back on the first $25,000 spent annually at office supply stores and on cellular phone, landline, Internet, and cable TV services. You get 2 percent cash back on the first $25,000 spent annually at gas stations and restaurants. And you get 1 percent cash back on all other purchases.

Other perks: Free employee cards and access to excellent management reporting tools.

Annual fee: None

APR: You get a zero percent intro APR for 12 months. After that, you get a 10.24 percent variable APR.

Foreign transaction fees: 3 percent

SimplyCash Plus Business Card from American Express

There’s no welcome offer, but you get some great rewards with this card. You get 5 percent cash back on wireless services and office supply purchases and 3 percent cash back on a category of your choosing that best fits your business.

Plus, you get 1 percent cash back on all other purchases. There’s no limit to the amount of cash back you can earn. You’ll automatically receive your cash back as a statement credit each month.

Other perks: Reinvest in your business with automatic cash back in the form of a monthly statement credit. Plus take control by choosing the 3% category that best fits your business

Annual fee: None

APR: You get intro APR. After that, you get APR.

Foreign transaction fees: 2.7 percent

Capital One Spark Miles Select for Business

You know what I like about Capital One’s rewards programs? They’re simple to understand. With this card, you get one mile per dollar spent on every purchase. Plus, you get a 50 percent bonus on the miles you earn every year. There’s no limit to the amount of miles you can earn and miles don’t expire.

Other perks: Employee cards at no additional cost, access to excellent management reporting tools, and the option to customize your card design to promote your business.

Annual fee: None

APR: You get . After that, it’s .
Foreign transaction fees: None

CitiBusiness AAdvantage Platinum Select World Mastercard

This is a new card and it has a lot to offer small business owners, starting with the sign-up bonus. After you make $1,000 in purchases within the first three months, you earn 30,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles.

Rewards: You get 2 AAdvantage miles for every dollar you spend on eligible American Airlines® purchases and for every $1 spent on purchases at telecommunications, car rental merchants and at gas stations. You get one AAdvantage for every dollar spent on all other purchases.

Other perks: First checked bag is free on domestic American Airlines itineraries for you and up to four companions traveling with you on the same reservation.

Annual fee: $95, waived for first 12 months

APR: 16.49% variable APR.

Foreign transaction fees: None

At publishing time, the Ink Cash Business Card, SimplyCash Business Card from American Express and CitiBusiness AAdvantage Platinum Select World Mastercard are offered on Credit.com product pages and Credit.com is compensated if our users apply for and ultimately sign up for these cards. However, this relationship does not result in any preferential editorial treatment.
